Why Elizabeth does this.
“I have many years of experience in evidence-based lactation support and education. I am skilled at latch assessment, sucking mechanics, and infant swallowing coordination. I also have expertise in developing lactation care plans.
I am an exceptional listener, and can effectively utilize adult learning modalities to explain complex lactation processes to the families I serve.
With La Leche League Canada I lead monthly breastfeeding support groups, and sit on committees such as Breastfeeding Essentials 101 and the Prenatal Breastfeeding Class.
I want to continue developing actionable and practical lactation resources for families, and to keep working on bridging the gap between hospital discharge and outpatient lactation services.”
