What we bring
Everything except the room.
The clinician
An experienced IBCLC with advanced skills and credentials, carrying full liability insurance, seeing families in person and virtually. If there is nobody local yet, we hire and train them.
All of the admin
Referral handling, client support and scheduling. Parents book their own appointments through the Ontario Breastfeeding Clinic, so none of it lands on your front desk.
Telling people it exists
Advertising and signage, so families in your area find out there is lactation support at your address.
A rate families can meet
Our IBCLCs reduce the financial barrier with OHIP-subsidized rate consults. A breastfeeding-friendly space like yours is part of how the fee stays where it is.
Plug and play
It arrives working.
The OBC is designed to plug in anywhere there is a need. You are not starting a lactation clinic, with everything that implies about hiring, insurance, booking systems and paperwork. You are giving an existing one somewhere to sit on the days it visits your community.
