Why Kristi does this.
Hello from Kristi!
Kristi is a mom of three, a Registered Naturopathic Doctor, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, and is currently working towards becoming certified as an Infant and Family Sleep Specialist. She has completed her Canadian Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (CC-PMH).
Kristi is passionate about helping families to navigate and overcome issues with: latch mechanics, feeding management (long feeds, frequent feeds, fussing at the breast), acid reflux, alternative feeding methods (lactation aid, cup, bottle), nipple/breast pain, milk supply issues, reading early feeding and sleep cues, weaning from the breast, and breastfeeding with complementary solids.
In her naturopathic practice, she focuses on nurturing Mom throughout the perinatal and postpartum period so that she can thrive (and not just survive).
She takes a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. She believes in creating brave spaces, meeting families where they are at in their unique parenting journey. She believes strongly in empowering parents to make evidence-informed choices free of judgement and guilt that work for their family.
